About these terms

These terms apply to cecsclinic.com and CECS Clinic app services that link to them, including ExtPress. CECS Clinic is operated by MSK DOCTORS & ASSOCIATES LIMITED, registered in England and Wales (company number 12301444), at MSK House, London Road, Silk Willoughby, Sleaford, NG34 8NY.

Please read these terms before using the services. Additional terms shown when you book or purchase a service apply to that booking or purchase. Contact [email protected] with questions.

Information and clinical care

Educational content, questionnaires, diaries and summaries support understanding and communication with a clinician. They do not, by themselves, provide a diagnosis, determine treatment suitability or replace individual medical advice. Do not start, stop or change treatment solely on this information.

Information entered in an app is only monitored or reviewed by a clinician where this has been expressly arranged.

Assessment and treatment require an appropriate clinical review and, where applicable, separate informed consent. Outcomes vary; no particular diagnosis, treatment result or recovery time is guaranteed.

Using the website and app

Use the services lawfully and provide accurate information when arranging care. Keep account details and private booking or verification links secure. Only submit information you are entitled to share.

You must not misuse the service, introduce harmful code, attempt unauthorised access or interfere with other users. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse or protect security.

Digital services may be interrupted for maintenance or technical reasons. We will take reasonable care in providing them, but cannot promise uninterrupted access. Descriptions of planned features do not mean those features are available.

Bookings, prices and payment

The services included, price and applicable booking policy are shown before payment. Your confirmation sets out the booking details. A discovery call is an introductory discussion, not a clinical consultation.

Tests and treatments remain subject to clinical suitability. A diagnostic package does not include treatment unless expressly stated. Any additional service and charge must be agreed with you.

For rearrangements or cancellations, contact the team promptly. Once clinical appointments are confirmed, refunds are not automatic: requests are considered case by case under the policy accepted at booking, taking account of services already supplied and reasonable cancellation costs. We will explain any deduction. Any more favourable cancellation entitlement in your booking policy remains applicable.

If we cannot provide an agreed service, we will discuss suitable alternatives or refund the unused service as appropriate. Nothing in these terms removes your statutory cancellation or refund rights.

Content and intellectual property

Our content, branding, designs and software belong to us or our licensors. You may use the service for your personal purposes and keep a copy of your own summaries for discussions about your care.

Except where the law permits, you may not reproduce, distribute, sell or commercially exploit our content or software without written permission. Using the service does not transfer ownership of our intellectual property. You retain your rights in information you provide.

Privacy and other services

Our privacy and cookies policy explains how we handle personal information on this website and in its booking services. An app may provide additional privacy information for its own features; read that information before submitting personal or health information.

Third-party websites, app stores and payment providers may have their own terms and privacy notices. A link to another service does not amount to a guarantee of its content or availability.

Responsibility and your rights

We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. These services are provided for personal use; we are not responsible for business losses arising from that use.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Updates, questions and disputes

We may update these terms for future use and will publish the current version here. Changes do not retrospectively alter the terms of an existing paid booking without your agreement.

Please contact [email protected] if you have a concern or complaint so we can try to resolve it.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. This does not remove mandatory protections or your right to bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable consumer law.
